RB Roofing OC is a true family business started in 1999 by Jose Refugio Berber. Refugio has been roofing since 1989. He got into the trade because it’s a high-value skill, and he still loves reroof projects the most. Even through sickness or injury, he has almost never taken a day off — he’s the hardest-working man his family knows and leads every crew with the same dedication.
None of this would have been possible without Rebecca Berber. Self-taught through books and pure willpower, she handled all the paperwork, licensing, and legal requirements to open and run the company in California. She is the voice of the business — setting appointments, managing payroll, handling QuickBooks, and making sure every customer stays happy so they come back and refer friends. She has been the backbone of the company since 1990 while also being the best mom to their four children.
Together, Refugio and Rebecca built something bigger than just a roofing company. Every person in the house relied on this business, and it gave their family of five the chance to buy a home in Orange County — something they’re still proud of today.
We run 3 crews with 10 workers total. We keep it simple and honest: no salesmen — you talk directly to the owners. We focus on quality reroofs and repairs on shingle and tile roofs for homes and businesses across Orange County, Los Angeles, and San Bernardino. We’ve done work for hospitals and large shopping centers, but we still treat every job like it’s our own family’s house.
We also give back locally — we sponsor a baseball team and support Taft PTA.
Our family’s goal is simple: keep doing honest, careful work with the same dedication that built this company, so the next generation can continue serving the community for years to come.
